"DEER FARMING
Mother Nature's Industry in the Making"

This article was originally printed in the February / March 2001 issue of Tracking The Industry. . .

"Deer farming - Mother Nature's Industry in the Making", is Len Jubinville's new buzz line. It's a slogan that he hopes many people will take time to learn the true meaning of and the importance of such a statement. Mother Nature deserves our respect, the environment needs to be protected and as consumers we should guarantee our right to consume lean, healthy, and wholesome foods. We should also be able to preserve traditions that have been passed on for centuries. Traditions that keep you in touch with Mother Nature, that keep you grounded and that are often referred to as therapeutic. Len Jubinville lives and breathes deer farming with a commitment and enthusiasm that can only survive in this day and age if you have a plan and a vision of the big picture. The big picture will only come to life if you energize it with the right amount of positive energy that it requires to succeed. Always remember that the benefits and results will be directly proportionate to the type and amount of energy supplied. Len Jubinville is a strong believer that deer farming has the potential to do better as an industry for Canada than what Canola has done and we all know how successful an industry canola became. He also knows that deer farming is far too lucrative for just a few provinces to take advantage of. Building an industry around our Whitetail and Mule Deer should not only be a Canadian initiative but a North American one. To hear Len's message be sure to attend our convention and take in his presentation titled "A Deer Industry " To Be or Not To Be." Len is a highly motivational and inspirational speaker that comes to us as a neighbor and fellow deer farmer from Alberta. He has been involved in the deer industry since 1988. His numerous travels to Europe and U.S.A. along with his willingness to share his ideas and knowledge will prove to be an asset to all of us.
